Streaming together a complexity of tongue twisting sounds he is definitely one of the most under-rated artists destroying the underground hip hop scene.

He's been in the game for a long time.

Which leaves me disappointed that I've only recently just discovered him.

The Discovery

I was first struck by his harmonic delivery and lyrical prowess on his track " Sickology 101 " featuring Crooked I and Chino XL.

Released as a digital single on March 31, 2009, it slowly made its way to my ears.

When I first heard it I had to hear it again. It was one of those tracks that impressed me so much it took a while for me to tire of it.

Not only was his verse tight but Crooked I kills it with his constant consonant cracking while Chino XL finishes it off.

Making Strange Music

Starting his Strange Music record label with partner Travis O'guin back in 2000 he has risen in rank and in skill. Building a successful record label and expanding his reach across the globe.

Of course like any great artist how great could he be if he was ever satisfied with his accomplishments?

With that said K.O.D. was a piece of work made through these kinds of challenges. K.O.D., meaning King of Darkness, is his most recent album released back in October of 2009.

On March 30, 2010 there will be an additional release to K.O.D. called " The Lost Scripts of K.O.D. "
