Slaine
Written By Pervis Mockingshire
George Carroll Jr., AKA "Slaine" in the underground rap scene, is a lyrical monster and the presses worst nightmare. When you think of big rap names in Boston there's not too many to speak of. Now you'll have at least one to think about when you bring up beantown rappers. He is currently rapping with the label La Coka Nostra. Along side fellow underground rappers such as Everlast and Ill Bill.
Bubba Rogowski
Starting off as an aspiring video producer he eventually turned to hip hop as an outlet for his frustrations.
After achieving some success in the hip hop world he was able to obtain his first movie appearance as a drug dealing gun runner Bubba Rogowski in Ben Affleck's film Gone Baby Gone (2007).
Sticking it to the Man
One of his mixtapes called "The White Man Is The Devil" sparked all kinds of talk. On an interlude of his is on the radio and is called out for being controversial. He lets the man know that its not controversy anymore its now a problem. If politicians don't want people to talk about it its BULLSHIT.
Heaven and Hell
Some of his music is sick though.
Songs like "Close Your Eyes" or "This Is My Life" open your eyes to places and things you don't normally see in this country. He keeps it pretty blunt and keeps to the point in his rap songs.
Often speaking of white kids from suburban AND urban areas taking prescription drugs, beating people to death, and exploring the boundaries of heaven and hell.
Although he doesn't always pursue a positive point, It keeps me on guard, because the lyrics are sick.. and I didn't even know people like this existed in the world.
