Sam Adams, Wizzy

Boston's Boy
Sam Adams

Sam Adams Wisner is breaking into the game with a bang!

First catching fire on YouTube with his remake of Asher Roth's " I Love College " into " I Hate College " he's now blazing the charts! This track displayed lyrical talent along with an easy to listen to delivery.

Having nearly 2 million views on YouTube in the past 9 months! That's pretty impressive.

He certainly has the makings to be the next wildfire to strike the country. Not only blessed with lyrical capabilities he's musically capable as well.

Producing much of his own music and beats himself he strives to create something fresh and new to contribute to hip hop.

Of course with success comes haters and enemies. Which he already has made but this kid is smart to ignore it and keep doing what he's doing.

Petty Squables

Underground rapper Slaine tried to start a beef with him out of what can only appear to be jealousy.

Slaine and Sammy are both coming out of Boston but Sammy is already achieving more success in a much shorter period of time than Slaine. Sam Adams, Wizzy

I was trying to get a phone interview with Sam but for whatever reason it fell through. When I originally talked to him on twitter I had told him I wanted to put his side of the story out there. He responded with " There is no story, I don't have beef with anyone, only love. "

An admirable response. There's not much to be said and to focus on such petty squabbles would slow down progress.

The funny part is Slaine wanted to try and kick this kid out of the game and ended up only bringing him more attention! Ha Ha!

Stoaking the Fire

On a rapid ascension to the top some of his songs have a very pop electro sound to them. Sam Adams is definitely hip hop though, regardless of what the haters say.

I have no doubt it won't be long before I have to remove this feature from my site because he won't be underground anymore. Having just released his debut album Boston's Boy on iTunes he's already blowing up!

At the time of writing this his sales and name are appearing on the charts right next to Jay-Z.

He'll be a household name in no time. For now though I'll keep him on here...at least until you guys are screaming at me that he's not underground.

Rumors of BS or the Truth???

There are rumors flying around that he bought his own album off of iTunes to boost his own numbers. Essentially causing his own hype and the subsequent blow up.

He denies these allegations are true. Furthermore if they were true would his sales continue to climb?

I guess it's a possibility that once seen topping the charts it would get some people interested enough to buy it...

Even if they are true...who cares?

Whatever he did...it worked!

Now we're blessed with the pleasure of hearing something fresh.

That has been the key to his success and will be the key to him sustaining that success.

He has created something that's refreshing to hear in comparison to the rest of hip hop.

Will he remain on the rise? Or will he flop?
