Haystak, underground rapper, underground hip hop

Haystak

Written By: Pervis Mockingshire

Jason Winfree A.K.A. Haystak comes from the middle of the nation, Nashville, Tennessee.

He is an underground rapper of Irish and German descent.

Stak has been in the rap game a long time. If you'll recall "Car Fulla White Boys" was released back in 2000.

He has releases on an underground record label called Real Talk Entertainment. Real Talk Entertainment has pretty good roster of artists that it has been known to do projects with. Including Bizzy Bone, AZ, and Dead Prez.

Webcam Interview

I was able to talk to him VIA webcam.

He definitely agreed that he is still an underground rapper who has the respect of his fans and he has been able to retain his soul.... "for what its worth".

One more question he answered that I personally wanted to know was "What advice do you have to say to an up and coming artist?

The reply was "Nothing really, Just make Big Moves."

The man remains in the underground but delivers raps about better things than material items.

Gathering the Bundle

Haystak, underground rapper, underground hip hop At the age 15 he was arrested at school for drugs, served 2 years, and turned rapping into a lifestyle.

Continuing to pursue it into adult hood he has released over 10 albums with his most recent work being " Came a Long Way ".

Stak has a laid back easy going flow. His smooth voice often mellows or does something challenging in every song.

On another note he has had beef with Eminem for years. Which I've heard him say some crazy shit about Eminem.

He has a song on a mixtape over an Eminem beat where he talks about how if he was Eminem and even commenting on Proof's death .

Haystak is definitely full of soul and has been at this for years.

I wonder how long he can keep going? I dont know why he isn't in half of our CD decks right now!
