D-Pryde
If you like Cory Gunz, Wax, and Prince Ea then your gonna love D-Pryde. He is most definitely apart of this emerging group of new school underground rappers.
Getting his start at a young age, just like Cory Gunz did, he is quickly gaining recognition.Just listen to " Believe Me ". He rides out leaving it road kill. Then you can really feel the acoustic vibe on " The Future ". Illustrating his ambition to achieve his dreams over that acoustic backdrop makes this song filled with a feeling that will give you goose bumps. Overcoming the usual struggles and challenges that entering into this game brings he has rose from humble beginnings and continues to rise. From prejudices against his youth to prejudices against his Asian decent he has continued on. I honestly feel such prejudices are becoming far more irrelevant nowadays. I try not to even mention them on my site because I don't support such things. If your a dope rapper then your a dope rapper. Nothing can diminish that and your challenges and circumstances tend to enhance that.
That may be the only reason that they are worth mentioning at all.
Growing Up
Honing and refining his song making abilities he has grown his fan base quite substantially in the past year and I fully expect his ascent to continue. You can see how he's grown from watching some of his first video's to seeing some of his more recent videos. On a blazing path to success this kid is beefed up and ready for the hip hop game.
From humble and goofy beginnings to a more serious demeanor Pryde has begun his trek up the mountain. Still relatively low in the underground hip hop arena, he has got an early start which will most definitely work in his favor. Not only that you can really hear his passion for quality lyrics. With his foot in the door and a rapidly expanding reach keep an eye out for D-Pryde.
